The Cannon House Times The Cannon House, A Retirement & Assisted

Mother's Day at The Cannon House was another opportunity to
share our lovely facility and superb dining experience with our
family. We offered a Sunday Buffet which was done with class. Each
reserved guest had a table ready for them with no waiting. We gave
each female resident a corsage, soft jazz played throughout the
room, and great food, making a delightful affair. A special
thanks goes out to Mr. Charles Maxie for his thoughtfulness in giving
flowers to all the female staff members.
M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me, "O" means only that she's
growing old, "T" is for the tears she shed to save me, "H" is for
her heart of purest gold; "E" is for her eyes, with love-light shinning,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be, Put them all together,
they spell "MOTHER," A word that means the world to me. ~Howard Johnson (c. 1915)
The Cannon House residents are learning
Tai Chi, a martial art that is a graceful, gentle way for seniors
to exercise. Brought to us by Mr. Maurice Caldwell every Wednesday.
